Why I Needed To Create This Blog, and Why You Need To Read it!

Pramod George|

I’ve spent the better part of the last two decades building, scaling, and occasionally dismantling SaaS engines. I’ve seen the industry move from "Software is eating the world" to "Software is bloating the balance sheet," and lived through enough "pivots" to make a ballet dancer dizzy.

So, why a blog? And why now?

Because the playbook has changed, but the noise has only gotten louder. We are moving out of the era of growth-at-all-costs and into the era of durable efficiency. In this new world, the old tropes about "disruption" aren't enough to keep the lights on.

What You Won’t Find Here

Before we get into the "why," let’s talk about what this space is not:

AI-generated "Thought Leadership": If I wanted to read a generic list of "10 ways to optimize your funnel," I’d ask a chatbot. You’ll get my actual scars and successes here.

Vanity Metrics: We aren't going to obsess over TCV if the churn is leaking out the back door.

Polished PR: SaaS is messy. I plan to talk about the mess.

The Three Pillars of This Blog

My goal is to provide a grounded perspective for founders, operators, and leaders who are tired of the fluff. We’ll be focusing on:

Unit Economics as Strategy: Moving beyond the spreadsheet to see how LTV and CAC actually dictate your product roadmap.

The Human Debt: We talk about technical debt constantly, but we rarely talk about the organizational debt created by rapid scaling and culture shifts.

The "Post-Hype" Tech Stack: Cutting through the noise to find tools and processes that actually move the needle, not just the ones with the best marketing.

Let’s Get Real

The SaaS landscape is more crowded and more skeptical than ever. Customers are savvy, VCs are cautious, and "good enough" is a death sentence. But for those of us who actually enjoy the grit of building something that stays up when the wind blows, there’s never been a better time to be in the room.

I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned, and more importantly, hearing what you’re seeing in the trenches.
